Demos typically last for approximately 50 minutes and consist of a brief tour of the studio, a brief discussion of the history of glassblowing and the history of ISU's glassblowing studio, and the making/glassblowing of a number of glass pieces. The studio can seat approximately 30 people (give or take ~10 depending upon the age of the participants). If you are interested in scheduling a demo please contact Brenda Kutz at bkutz@iastate.edu. (If you are scheduled for a demo and are meeting at the studio, you may wish to print directions to the studio ahead of time.)

If you would like to join the beginner's class (required to join the Guild), please sign up on the waiting list.

Dues for beginners (your first semester in the Guild) are $60 for students, $120 for non-students. Dues after that (each semester after your first semester in the Guild) are $45 for students, $90 for non-students. For these purposes, we count three semesters during the year (fall, spring, and summer).
